The revival” begins Thursday at 7 p.m. with music by the TBA. On Friday music guests will be the Harper Brothers. On Saturday and Sunday music guests will be the McMillian Family.

In the 1960’s the Harper Brothers began with three boys and a desire to sing. At the ages of 6, 7, and 8 with the help of their mother the boys learned how to sing and learned what it meant to share the gospel of Jesus in song. As children they went to Nashville to record their first album. The son’s of a Baptist preacher, the “Three D’s” as they came to be known – Doyle, Dale, and Danny – began singing in local churches in Florida. It wasn’t long before they were singing on public courthouse squares in Kentucky as their father preached to the people that gathered. As they grew and moved from place to place, the boys continued to give their talents back to the Lord through music.

Many years later, though some of the faces have changed, the legacy continues. Doyle, Jeff, and Wayne continue to carry on a ministry that started many years ago. A family rich with a heritage of music, ministry, and a love for people, night after night they continue to take the stage for yet another opportunity to offer others an invitation to meet the man they sing about.

The McMillans are in full time music ministry and have been ministering together for over 20 years as a family singing Gospel music. David, a former worship pastor, is a multi-instrumentalist who loves worshipping the Lord with instruments as well as singing with Susie and Jessica, who carry most of the lead vocals. They love incorporating music for all generations in the services God allows them to participate in, including styles from bluegrass to southern to country to praise & worship! They have been blessed to be able to travel the country sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that you will enjoy the family harmonies, along with some “good pickin”, as The McMillans do what God has called them to do - present the Gospel through song!

“This world can be a tough place sometimes,” said church media coordinator Che Cantrell. “We hope folks have a spiritual time of refreshing.”
